Here’s What You Need to Know Before Flying to Japan

Japanese tradition and innovation combine to create a beautiful nation with a rich history and vibrant culture. Japan has additional islands outside the four major (Hokkaido, Honshu, Shikoku, and Kyushu). Here are some things to know before visiting Japan.

Japan was one of my top three vacation destinations before we went, and now that we’re back home, it’s my third fave after France and Italy. After all, the country is famous for its beautiful temples, delicious cuisine, and high output. Going to Japan in style may get you great prices.

Given the importance of respect and etiquette and the fact that you’re a visitor in someone’s house, we wish we had learned the following about Japanese culture before coming.

Always have some cash on hand in case of need.

The most significant thing to take away from this article about Japan is that currency is valued highly. Many places, especially those that are designed to serve tourists, will only accept cash, despite the fact that the country as a whole has experienced tremendous modernisation. Surely the lux japan tour would be best with it.

You may be surprised to find out how few individuals are fluent in English.

One of the things I found most surprising about our trip to Japan was how few locals spoke English. It’s not rude to try to speak the language of the country you’re visiting, even if it’s only to say the basics like “please,” “thank you,” “excuse me,” and “sorry.”

This was the case at many of the hotels we stayed at and other notable establishments as well. If you think you may need to translate anything into English (Google’s visual translator is great), you should purchase a data plan.

A SIM card may be purchased locally

A sim card purchase should be on the top of your to-do list as you get ready for your trip to Japan. Google Maps was always at our disposal, and online food orders were a breeze thanks to our constant connection to the web. The availability of data was really helpful. It was also helpful when we went shopping for something we didn’t fully understand and wanted to double-check that we were buying the right materials for the job.

Become well-versed in the directions from the airport to your first hotel

The flight time from London to Tokyo was almost 14 hours, so if you’re departing from Europe, plan to spend at least 12 hours in the air. The last thing on your mind after passing through customs and making it to your gate should be how to get to your hotel.

You should familiarise yourself with the different forms of transportation before leaving the home so that you may make the most of your vacation and have the most fun possible. Getting into the heart of Tokyo from either of the city’s two airports is a breeze because to the airport’s closeness to a wide range of public transit options.

Conclusion

Even if you’re in a rush, it’s still rude to eat while walking, so keep that in mind if you care about your reputation. When going out to eat, it’s best practise to seek out a quiet spot where you won’t annoy anybody else while you enjoy your meal. The only two exceptions to this regulation are dishes served at festivals and meals bought from sellers on the street.
